Journey Overview
Leave Bukhara behind and venture deep into the Kyzylkum Desert on a private two-day journey through the ancient lands of Khorezm. Discover five remarkable archaeological sites, including ancient fortified cities, royal centers, and mysterious circular complexes revealing thousands of years of history.
The journey combines archaeology and Silk Road heritage with desert landscapes, traditional Uzbek cuisine, local culture, and an overnight stay at an authentic Ayaz-Kala yurt camp.
On the first day, travel from Bukhara through Jambas-Kala, Koy-Krylgan-Kala, Toprak-Kala, and Kyzyl-Kala before reaching the dramatic Ayaz-Kala area in the evening. Settle into your traditional yurt, enjoy dinner, and experience the silence of the desert beneath the night sky. The following morning begins with breakfast at the camp and time to explore Ayaz-Kala fortress before continuing toward Khiva or returning to Bukhara.

Koy-Krylgan-Kala Circular Complex
Continue to Koy-Krylgan-Kala, a distinctive circular complex dating to the 4th–3rd centuries BC, famous for its religious and funerary history.
Traditional Uzbek Lunch Break
